Philip Rushton is from Liverpool. He is a house husband, a home-schooler and the founder of TRINITY in BIOLOGY. Philip has a masters degree in theoretical physics from Durham University (1999) and a PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics (2002), also from Durham. Philip also has bachelors degrees in philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome (2007), and divinity from the Maryvale Institute in Birmingham (2014). The subject of Philip's masters dissertation was quantum chaos in semiconductor structures, and you can view Philip's doctoral thesis here.
Philip discovered the image of the Holy Trinity in cells in 2006, whilst training for the Catholic priesthood at the Venerable English College in Rome.
TRINITY in BIOLOGY is a new view of biology based on the unprecedented scientific discovery that all living cells contain the image of the Holy Trinity.
The mission of TRINITY in BIOLOGY is to unravel the scientific consequences of the image of the Holy Trinity in living cells, to present these to the mainstream biological community and also to communicate them to the general public.
We have developed a robust theory of life which explains life itself, the origin of life, the origin of the genetic code, whether machines can be alive and why we do not see extra-terrestrial life. Indeed, we think our theory can answer any question about the fundamental nature of life.
Grand Unified Theory of Biology: We have a theory of life, next we would like to develop a Grand Theory of Biology based on the image of the Holy Trinity.
Beyond biology: Do images of the Holy Trinity exist elsewhere in the universe? Is the universe a honeycomb of Trinitarian images? If so, then we will have a Grand Unified Theory of the universe.
PHILIP RUSHTON was born in Liverpool and studied physics at Durham University. He obtained a masters degree in theoretical physics with a dissertation on quantum chaos in 1999 and a PhD in 2002, you can view Philip's doctoral thesis here.
After obtaining his PhD, Philip worked as a technical consultant for Detica (now BAE Systems Applied Intelligence) in Guildford. In 2005, Philip went to seminary at the Venerable English College in Rome to train for the Catholic priesthood. Whilst in seminary, Philip was both confronted and fascinated by the question, what is life? Philip began investigating the problem of life in his spare time and he soon noticed an unmistakable connection between the biochemistry of cells and the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. Philip had discovered the image of the Holy Trinity in living cells.
Shortly after discovering the image of the Holy Trinity in the cell, Philip was forced to leave seminary due to an illness which took a decade to recover from and which erased most of his long-term memories.
Philip saw this ailment as a blessing in disguise since it gave him the opportunity to investigate the extraordinary discovery he had made whilst in seminary. After almost twenty years of research, the result is a new biology based on the image of the holy trinity: TRINITY in BIOLOGY.
Before he left seminary, Philip managed to obtain a bachelors degree in philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome in 2007. Philip also obtained a bachelors degree in divinity from the Maryvale Institute in Birmingham in 2014.

On the back wall hangs an enormous depiction of the Holy Trinity by the Italian painter Durante Alberti called, The Blessed Trinity and Saints (1581) or The Martyr's Picture.
If so, then we would like to hear from you. Would you like to help develop the theory? Do you have graphic design skills? Can you create engaging animations? Are you adept at social media? Or perhaps you think you can fit in somewhere else. Maybe you don't know, but still want to get involved. Either way, get in touch. TRINITY in BIOLOGY has only just got started, and there is much work to be done!
